Spent the first 29 minutes of my day thinking it was Friday which was fun.

On a side note, waking up in the dark can get fucked.

I'm really feeling the dark too. I think living opposite the sea and with nothing in front of you is wonderful but it really does make you "feel" the dark more, if that makes any sense at all.

Anyway, went to the gym and still a bit RUBBISH at it. Can't get back into it post-appendix. Just feel weak and feeble.

Cat woke me at 3:30am hungry - which will happen if you turn down your lunch little cat, would not let up, had to be banished, was back in an hour physically throwing itself at bedroom door, got up. opened it, Cat joined by also Cat so the two of them ran about a bit randomly meowing and jumping on stuff - gave up - fed them (04:50) went back to bed. Entry again demanded at approx 06:30 for no good reason that I can see, lots of jumping on my head and meowing and such - hid under sheet until they chased each other away. They've been doing this for weeks now. My sleep is shredded.

First morning with headlights on driving to work, first morning arriving at work and the heating's been on so it was toasty warm inside.

Have to admit my new glasses are brilliant with the oncoming headlights, they just look like lights now instead of massive sparkly "pompom" balls of light.

Oh fuck yeah, a gloomy sky over a turbulent sea can feel very oppressive.

I'm currently in Wales and the weather is rubbish :( grey, cloudy and wet.

I definitely don't miss the summer heat, but I would appreciate some blue skies.

Also, what is with all the flies at the moment, they're everywhere :argh:

I stayed with my friend last weekend who has four cats (two are his, the other two he's looking after for his brother) and for the first time in my life I thought, maybe I could have a cat in my house.

Then I read that and thought, I couldn't put up with that shit.

Could this Tory Party conference please FUCK RIGHT OFF? Watching the media scrambling to find anything interesting or relevant to say just for the sake of it is RUINING MY DAY

Turn the news off?

I don't watch the news! It's all over the websites / social media

I wouldn't let me put you off - they don't all behave like that - and they don't do it always - it's just a cycle they seem to have gotten into the last few weeks.

I've had to have a second coffee to brush past that, and a blueberry, lemon and strawberry kitkat.

This is third coffee of the day territory round my way, sometimes fourth. I was 2 deep by 10am

I've been tending towards one, first thing in the morning and then in recent months hadn't felt the need for a second but it's creeping back in in the past month or so. I imagine the cat induced sleep deprivation may have something to do with that.

Double espresso brought by Mr Sheena upon waking about 5:30
Starbucks 5 shot iced coffee at 8am (don’t shout at me- it’s the only shop on the way that’s open and I like their sugar free hazelnut syrup)
Double espresso about 2pm

Sometimes one in the evening if I’m out for dinner.

Didn’t touch the stuff until a few years ago either :D :disco:

Walking home from work today I walked past an Eritrean/Ethiopian cafe that has a coffee ceremony for £6. Think I may give it a go soon.

It can also be massively invigorating, if there are cliffs involved.
I used to love walking my dog on an empty beach in winter in a storm, just us in a bay at the end of the world

My arm is proper sore after getting the gonorrhea jab. It's only 40% effective, don't know what I was thinking asking for it now. I have a gym date tomorrow (chest) so it needs to be gone soon.

Oh I’ve had the CLAP a few times. Generally down the throat :eyes: It’s not pleasant. That 40% jab is better than nothing, though they sold it as more or less a cure at one point. From memory, the pain doesn’t last long.

Now, don’t get me started on the jab you get after you get the SYPHILIS. :zombie:

I've just opened a thrilling unsolicited email about HAT COOPERATION.
