You're pro-death penalty? Sorry, I don't think I can read that any other way. It’s the second botched execution in Tennessee this year apparently. Im not against her receiving the death penalty given the crime and laws in Tennessee but now it’s become a whole other 8th Amendment issue.
Girl...Im not against her receiving the death penalty given the crime and laws in Tennessee
not much sympathy for this particular violation of her right to die peacefully or whatever people are saying. she should probably die painfully.Along with her friend, 18-year-old Shadolla Peterson, Christa Pike planned to lure Slemmer to an isolated, abandoned steam plant near the University of Tennessee campus.
On January 12, 1995, Pike, Shipp, Peterson, and Slemmer signed out of the dormitory and went to the woods, where Slemmer was told they wanted to make peace by offering her some marijuana. Upon arrival at the secluded location, Slemmer was attacked by Pike and Shipp while Peterson acted as lookout. According to court testimony, for the next 30 minutes, Slemmer was taunted, beaten, and slashed. Shipp used a box cutter to carve a pentagram into her chest while she was still alive. Finally, Pike smashed Slemmer's skull with a large chunk of asphalt, killing her. Pike kept a piece of Slemmer's skull. Pike began to show off the piece of skull around the school, and the three were arrested within 36 hours.
Don’t forget the attempted murder with a shoelace while in prison, and escape as well.not much sympathy for this particular violation of her right to die peacefully or whatever people are saying. she should probably die painfully.

Well she was already sentenced the death penalty after striking the victim with asphalt and carving her while alive and keeping her skull as a keepsake. The other stuff just goes to show she continues to be irredeemable trash. Not an advocation for the death penalty, my only point was is that I don’t have any moral opposition to someone like her receiving itOh no she tried to escape, then she should definitely be killed. In Germany escaping from jail is considered a natural reaction and not punished (I believe, that might just be Internet lore). Anyway...
I'm against the death penalty in all circumstances. Let them rot in jail. I concede what she did was repugnant, but it's worth noting that her co-conspirator, has life in jail because he was a year younger. It, at the very least highlights the legal arbitrariness of a justice system that decides who lives and who dies. Don't get me started on states rights.
Stop watching the newsI just need this era to be over. I can’t take much more of this horror show
