I can't even share the link because it'll just embed as a playlist!

I thought a SHPAT was what Sean Connery got into with the director of his final film.
This one passed me by a bit but I've learned to give these playlists a few listens to give the potential GROWERS a chance.

I do like Christine & The Queens (although the voice can be a bit TRYING over a long album), but this icy electronica is right up my street. I'm even getting slight reminders of the man in my avatar - big compliment coming from me!

Okay, I've done that now so people will need to watch externally on YouTube, where adverts live

Throw together The Cheeky Girls & that Marina Satti song from Eurovision 2024, get it sung by a woman who looks like Spagna on the BOTOX, et voila, it's Bulgaria. No choice but to stan, ofc.

I'm gonna carry on from where I left off, unless there are enough people that it's worth me starting again to join?

Slovenia - considering she's singing about (I am assuming) being melancholy, she sounds rather CHIPPER to me.

This one's quite the bop, and I love the band name. I've time for anything that sounds like a Facebook post announcing the death of a provincial nan.

More Fad Gadget esque icy electronica sung in a deadpan voice from Turkey it's like it's been curated just for me!

Cape Verde debuting with a fabulously insistent drumbeat & pre chorus chant - unfortunately the chorus felt like a bit of a damp squib after that build up.

Italy sounds very much like a Eurovision also ran from any number of past years - but not an Italian entry, oddly.

It's got a lovely chunky beat to it, mind. Fanny Michielin was in the very first ASFM of the modern era, too.

Liking Ghana - great music, class naggy chorus, diva esque backing vocals - the occasional interjection from some random squawking Cockney bloke is a bit jarring though.
