Celebrity Traitors (UK) S02E06

Why were they building it up so much when we all knew everyone was coming back? No one really mentioned the possibility of a recruitment…

(Though I was taking dishes to the kitchen and might have missed that bit!)

As has been recently revealed breakfast is about midday. They absolutely have breakfast at the hotel. Which I've suspected for ages.

Kenny slightly slipped up there, since he was leading on the certainty that there had been a recruitment at breakfast, but just “forgot” by the round table.

I don't actually mind the tasks. But then I apparently like mediocre drivel.

Jerry Hall is the Lucky Roy Singh of the series, let’s not kill off the most interesting yet problematic contestant this early and ruin the rest of the season!

Yeah, bore off Ross. Jerry being Jerry is the only iconic thing going on so far.

The yawn-based murder method felt a bit on-the-nose considering how dull this series is shaping up to be

Jerry is its man saving grace. Fingers crossed she gets to see another midday selection of Tesco croissants <3

Joe wanting camera time made him both a waste of faithful time with people being obliged to suspect him and an idiotic traitor following Richard. Good riddance to anyone who behaves like that.

Highlight for me was Jerry's southern drawl dreaming up butter drippin' off hot corn.

As for the challenge. I hope the tedious bed hair blond guy blows it. Loving Maya's stifled frustration at his lack of ambition as a traitor. Her little absent-minded jaunt strut to look for perfume was marvelous. Furious that they cut short Jerry's Texas chit chat.

Ross is so fucking serious! Have a laugh mate. I really hope he goes over Jerry. Though I think it’s perfectly possible that neither of them go. The fake yawning from Maya and James was mad.

Sharon seemed so suspicious about coming in that room too. Did she pick up on it?

I assume Ellie and Ross were a last minute booking for Uncloaked. They should have been. And it would explain why he didn't have time to put a shirt on.

Top 5 contestants this year for bringing the good moments:

1. Jerry
2. Joanne
3. Miranda
4. Hannah
5. Richard

I'd pop Miranda 1st or 2nd. Jerry is obviously great fun and knowingly ridiculous, but Miranda having a comeback trail seems like more of an event.

Joanne I already liked, so I'm glad she's leaning into being the worst player.

Ross Kemp is also one of the most ridiculous humans alive, and that must be applauded.

James Blunt dressing as Fatima Whitbread each task and of course that shower scene. I must allot him some points for effort.

Joanne is likeable but by god has she got EVERYTHING wrong, more so than a lot of the others who have had sniffs of being vaguely correct in some aspect! :D

I also really switch off during any of the Missions and generally don't keep up with what they are even meant to do. I love the start of each episode and then the round table and the end of each episode.

I never cared much for Miranda until this, although maybe she is different since the illness she keeps mentioning

My mother in law says she is getting bored and won't watch another series so make of that what you will

In the civilian series they kinda fixed the missions by giving them some stakes but this time they have just felt like a way to fill 20 minutes.

As something of a fan, Miranda seems no different to me. But I think back at the peak of her sitcom she was massively overexposed. And having a self titled sitcom where you're essentially playing a heightened version of yourself is only going to invite criticism, and only more so if you're a woman.
