I know it's Bon Jovi and that they're objectively horrendous and all that but I have a major weakness for overblown power ballads - probably because I feel that life should be treated as one big absurdist MELODRAMA and such songs seem to reflect that. 'Always' is basic af but it hits many of my sweet spots. I'll be sad to see it go! (Just like I'm sad to see even second-tier Stone Roses sandwiched between the absolute dross of 'I Swear' and fucking 'All for Love', gah!!)
