I’m currently taking a Waymo to the train station and it’s very dystopian

We’ve had them in Atlanta for a few months and this was my second time in one. It’s part of uber now, I didn’t even call for it. And honestly it’s felt safer than a random driver…

That’s what I’ve been told (by Google AI, who needs people anyway)

I normally take a bus to the subway to the airport but I couldn’t find my bus pass. Luckily our tech overlords were able to save me

Also amazed that people still take the train in the US.

I know we're in double digits again, but a surprising number of people around in shorts

I’d say 90% of uber drivers talk to you here. But I also don’t mind that

the weather here is feeling so random and crazy and it’s -6 Celsius

Oh they do around here sometimes. And then you have to worry about your rating as well.
My rating went down to 4.8 recently. Inexplicable, I'm always a perfect customer. Mr Ag suggested homophobia.

I suspected it was because I put a camping chair in the boot(!)

I don't always mind talking to taxi drivers, but some need to zip it. We had one old boy last year who asked we were a gay couple. He never quite got round to "so who's the wife?", but was close. I suspect he dined out on meeting us for ages, to prove something or other.

He’ll be talking about his gay friends for years

I had an uber driver ask me and my friend if we were Jewish and when my friend said yes (which I wouldn’t have done), he said Jews were his FAVORITE RACE

He’ll be talking about his gay friends for years
I think we were first married gays he'd met in real life. Then he mostly talked about how horrible his wife was. He was proper old school east London boy.

It was fun, but I don't recommend it.

Ai grovyyyy frezing fell boodys shutting down 😮🤔🤣 not nuff diet person way want weigh da g me luck 🤣😀🥹🤙🏿💪🏾

Hot ligers roxs

I think I'd chance a slightly increased risk of death over the possibility of chatting to a taxi driver.
Maybe they could introduce an option for AI conversations about immigrants, taxes and the government for those who'd miss having a good old taxi chat.

I took a driverless car a few times in Austin when I went to see Kylie. It was weird at first but they did a better job than some of the rides with drivers I was in.

Now, Portsmouth town centre does have a reputation for being a bit rough, but I just walked in from my office to pick up, shall we say, an ITEM from Boots and not only does the "fancy" chav clothes shop you now have to knock on the door to get a security guard to let you in, but I walked into the town public toilet (for ONCE for genuine weeing purposes, I swear) and there was someone sat in a cubicle with the door open with his mate openly injecting him with drugs without a care in the world who was walking in. So that was nice. :)
