I did enjoy that she clearly performed before the show though as Tricksy the magic act said to her I loved your performance and the look of fear on Alesha’s face was BRILLIANT. After her performance was shown on tv Ant and Dec said to her off you go and get changed before the rest of the show and she was absent afterwards to then come back in the same outfit.

What does it matter if it was filmed before the show? Why did they not just run with it?
I guess they want to give the illusion of the show as one continuous block of live television (even though ITV remove the "live" banner from the screen whenever something pre-recorded is being shown). Plus, they'd scripted it so that Alesha wasn't at the judge's desk after the performance. I think had they abandoned that, it would have been more noticeable to the audience and raised more questions than a throwaway comment that probably went unnoticed by most people.

All the rags picked up on it. To me it would just seem more authentic if they then decided to be transparent and carry on as normal with Alesha still sitting at the judges desk afterwards. It doesn’t REALLY matter but for it to be pointed out by Tricksy then they carried on as before made it seem very disjointed. Tricksy was on early so they had plenty time to do some jiggery pokery behind the scenes before Alesha’s performance.

The new track is great.
This actually sounds like it could be all over KISS and CAPITAL - I hope she gets some sort of exposure with this, would be quite nice to see.
