Well, they've finally leaked in CD quality...the week that I at last get my mitts on a copy of the pretty pink sampler...TYPICAL. Some loon paid nearly 80 quid on ebay for a copy, luckily I didn't shell out that much.

Look On The Floor is said to be lined up as the next single. It does sound much better in proper quality than the radio rip, though I still prefer Lovebite.

Waterfall is very Goldfrapp-lite, with a bit of Annie thrown in. It's grown on me lots already and as a pretty electro chill thing fits in rather nicely with their current sound.

They said on the Jonathan Ross interview that LOTF was pretty much in a finished state, but Lovebite and Waterfall were in demo form. They sound finished to me, but who knows.

"Waterfall" is gorgeous. It's been on constant repeat on my discman.

Not so sure about Waterfall. I'll need a few listens to see if it grows on me. Look On The Floor is MARVELLOUS though, I like it VERY much. Love the chorus.

I MUCH prefer "Waterfall" to "Look On The Floor".

'Look On The Floor' just sounds tired and lacklustre to me.

HOWEVER, about 90 seconds further in and it's growing...

'Waterfall' just plods along and goes nowhere. Dreadful vocals as well. And not in a good way.

PLEASE let Woolies stock em tomorrow. There aint a lot of competition so Im HOPEFUL

Woolies are bound to stock them. Oooh...this is what my cousin had to say about MIMD...bear in mind he's a straight boy...

"Is it the original lineup? Is that Siobhan(???) still in it? I downloaded it yesterday along with all the new entries and a splattering of new / upcoming releases listed in Music Week (I've just started another subscription to MW). It did sound pretty good, I could handle playing it more than once - which I couldn't do with the slew of R&B shite I trawled up. Bananarama definitely fared better than the new Madness single. I'd be very surprised if it doesn't chart. I think they played it on last weeks ToTP, although I dunno if that has the same kind of influence it used to have."

It absolutely MUST be a hit

I shall be downloading AND buying both singles. I suggest EVERYONE do the same

Well Radio One listed them as one of about five songs they predict for a new entry next week... If anything the pure novelty of Bananarama being back should gurantee a few sales...

I really can't make up my mind about Look On The Floor, sometimes I love it and sometimes I feel it's lacking a certain OOMPH in the verses. The filched chorus is very catchy though.

Waterfall would be a fine album track, it's a lovely semi-ballad thing.

MIMD better do OK. I want a follow up and an album. They've apparently only got one more track to do to finish the album. I wonder if they are recording the song the Pet Shop Boys have written?

I love 'look on the floor'. Thats an awesome track. I have to say it's really weird listening to the chorus coz I swear I can hear Mike Stock in the backing vocals. I know its just my imagination but try it.

Liking both "Look On The Floor" and "Waterfall" MUCHLY.

I'll definitely be picking up the single this week. :disco:

BOTH singles PLEASE

I'll see what I can DO

I saw the girls on some awful celebrity show on Living on Sunday.

Needless to say they were FABULOUS and looking MIGHTY FINE :D

A demo version of Look On The Floor has leaked, quite randomly!

The verses are completely different, and the chorus is more helium-style, like the My Mine original. I do prefer the version on the sampler, but very interesting anyway.

Imagine being lukewarm on this initially...

I think it was the Angel City edit that effectively led the album release in the US at least. Pretty close to the Solasso, if a tad more straightforward.

Sara's said it is her favourite to perform and it pretty much this version they still do live too.
