Does anyone still follow her?

I haven't checked out the new album yet, but the two promo singles have really stood out for me this year:






She's definitely matured from her plucky folky guitar early years and her voice is rounder and more soulful. She's reminding me of Paula Cole and Nerina Pallot in the new stuff. Which is why I'm liking it I'm sure.

She's definitely gone into a more classic singer songwriter sound and the pre-release songs I've really enjoyed (Surrender being my favourite). I gave the album a go last night and it started blending into one in the second half and I tuned out completely by the end.

She’s been Radio 2 listed with a completely different song than all the digital promos which must be the new single. I haven’t heard it yet. I don’t imagine I’ll be able to manage a full album out of her either but pleasantly surprised that she’s produced some tracks that appeal to me and also still getting some support.
