Being pre-digital era caused Whenever, Wherever to suffer (surely an easy #1 had sales been around). I was going to link that to the reason why she only has four, but to be honest I’m not sure she would have had anymore. She’s more of a one big hit ever era or two kind of artist rather than multiple per album.

"Objection (Tango)" felt a lot bigger at the time. I remember it being all over MTV. Yeah I guess her singles have been mostly left of center. "Don't Bother" almost derailed everything for her here (even though I love it) until "Hips Don't Lie" came along.

I'm #teamChaki until the day I die and by all accounts the Piqué family do not sound very nice but I have to say if you have a Mediterranean mother you would not think that physical exchange is particularly noteworthy
