Seeing Liz tonight with Alanis. Delighted to see she did a 12 song set last night in Malahide which I’m sure my friend will be thrilled to listen to in completion. The setlist is below, it’s a solid one, of course we could all edit it to our own faves a bit more but happy with it. I’m a bit surprised ‘Soberish’ was paid dust.

^^ She played the same set. I was a bit nervous for her as an Irish female vocal group had got the crowd going with a covers set of Irish female artists that went down really well, well known stuff by the likes of Sinead O’Connor, The Cranberries and The Corrs so I thought she might get a quieter reaction for this sort of set up but she got a very warm reception. ‘Why Can’t I’ seemed to have the biggest recognition factor. My friend had the audacity to try and introduce her talkative neighbours half way through the set who were also there which was pretty annoying as they wanted more than a hello but I had managed to silence them by the time she did a shortened Fuck and Run. Her band were tight and loud, I thought she did very well. The WCSE tracks were my faves.
She did chat a bit between songs but not really at length or about anything in particular. She’s really tiny so it looked like she was fighting her guitar and coat half the time . She was allocated an hour and had a pretty cool backdrop screen of moments throughout her career.
