Glorious sunshine here at 8am so I did what I usually do at the weekend when it's sunny and took my cup of tea to the back doorstep. Came straight back in again, it's freezing out there.

There's a radio advert for second-hand shop Cex and the narration man just keeps calling it Sex. It's very offputting when I'm driving having him randomly shouting sex. I've always pronounced it Kex (like mancunian underpants) because otherwise cap would be sap, cup would be sup, cat would be sat and so on.

I've found the most middle class gastro style pub near ours and the food is fucking divine. I just had a 'hand pressed spiced lamb burger on brioche with lamb ribs' Soz vegans

We did have to revert to our local 'tramps but with money' pub after because we just aren't posh enough for Bowden if I'm honest.

What a lovely day - nipped over to the City Halls in Glesga for the Tectonics festival. Some magnificent music and especially nice to hook up with some friends I hadn't seen in far too long. Nice diverse crowd too.
