Morning, should have done all this yesterday but I watched Godfather 2 instead 🙃

I struggled to get "normal" food yesterday - I'm not sure I want 10 Halloumi Fries for my tea tomorrow night, y'know? Might do an early morning run tomorrow but I know in myself that I am unlikely to be arsed.

Waitrose was surprisingly quiet, I underestimated my load so I’ll be doing the rest on foot later.

Morning Moopy.

I still have fudge. I have 2 days to sell out.

Also, do we think I can get a small ish shower filter through airport security in my hold luggage without it being in any packaging? I'm concerned on their scanner it may look like a bomb.

Shove it in your in-between-me-down-there!

I'm off to Bath in March for three nights and am very excited. Any recommendations?
The joy of Bath is largely just walking around it. The heart of it is very compact. The Royal Crescent, Circus, Abbey, Roman Baths, Pulteney Bridge, and Holburne museum are all very close together.

If the weather is good, try not to miss Prior Park landscape garden, about a 30 minute walk out of the centre. It's glorious - particularly in March when the wild garlic will be spectacular.

And if you fancy a longer walk, the circular Bath Skyline walk is wonderful.

The Dundas Aqueduct is about an hour walk outside of the city centre as well. I think there's a loop walk where you can go one way via the Kennet and Avon canal, and then back via the River Avon, although I haven't done it.

If the weather isn't great, then jumping on a train or bus to somewhere like Bradford on Avon or (particularly) Frome would be a nice idea.

Busy day. Need to pop to a friends house, wrap presents, find cinnamon sticks and appropriate herbs and then go out for dinner at 6.30.

Managed to drag myself to the gym earlier, not that it will make much difference when I'll be drinking and eating my body weight over the next couple of days but sure IT'S CHRISTMAS.

Only have Mulled Wine in the house in terms of alcohol. I'm laying off it this festive season.

Just been and done the BIG SHOP and carried it all home by hand. Fucked now.

I went to do a big shop, it was like scenes from a post-apocalyptic movie so I got enough to make Chrimbo dinner and sandwiches and came home.

My gravy stock and red cabbage is all done though, its officially christmas

I've got one cinnamon stick in a Schwartz jar left if anyone wants it. It's probably about two years out of date, but it's dried bark, how bad can it be?

I mean completing a training at home in your own time while you're on annual leave, surely that counts as modern slavery?! :o

Whilst I take the point, also, why the fuck are you checking your emails at that time?

It was a WhatsApp! It's a muted group but my mum had messaged about something and you can't help but see it when you open the app

I'm waiting on one last present to arrive, fingers crossed for tomorrow :argh:
You posting this made me realise I hadn't yet received a parcel from amazon. Checked my account to see it had supposedly been left in a secure location.

We don't have a secure location, so have just walked around the house and front garden with a torch, and found it stuffed in a choisya in my front garden. It's a box of Kilner bottles, wrapped in 'fragile' tape.
