on Love Sensation, possibly the most Kylie Minogue track of her career, M flirts with French touch. the third single is a carefree ditty, pretty straightforwardly catchy - not a huge favourite of mine although it's objectively a nice breather in the middle of the album sandwiched between darker, weirder, more house/electro-leaning tracks. something about the slightly muddy production and vocals stops me from really loving it like I should. I also couldn't find one interesting lyric from it to use in the poll which kinda speaks to how nothingy the lyrics are.

it was the clear loser of the round with every other track getting at least 3 more save votes, and I think it did well to make it this far.

Love Sensation is supreme. It's almost deceptively low key all the whilst utterly drenched in so many waves that usurp, surge and just glide into the sunset. I had a gorgeous moment to it today - I love it. Love when the music drops down low - classic thumping French house trappings galore.

I had Love Without Words on earlier too - it's my sole vote here. I wonder if Everything just scratches this itch so much more satisfyingly for me. I obviously love the pelting 90s dance production, but I think it's the only song bar Read My Lips that I'd say comes close to the category of padding (her best padding since the Girl Gone Wild video?)

Someone voted for Danceteria to go.

In years to come archaeologists will sift through the dust of this site and ponder why on Earth One Step Away by Madonna, now ratified as the Anthem of the Post Apocalypse, could possibly not have been seen as the genius that it surely is by the people of that time.
