Deep Water (Ben Affleck/Ana De Armas Erotic Thriller)

This was entertaining (well the first half, it drags a bit in the second). It’s extremely dumb but Ben Affleck is so sexy, what a man. He really should stop making films with his (ex) partners.

The sex stuff was hilarious. Ana De Armas’ character made no sense but those parties reminded me of the real housewives parties (she’s very much the countess if the count was a murderous man).

The end makes no sense, why did Tracy Letts show up in the River? Also that chase scene was absurd

One last honorable mention to Ana De Armas’ nipples. They’re huge.

The first half was decent enough but by god it descended into a complete farce. None of it really made much sense. There was a decent story to be had in there somewhere which makes me wonder if there was a lot left on the cutting room floor.

It made a lot more sense to me when I discovered it was based on a Patricia Highsmith novel set in the 50s (the endless parties, people bumping into each other on walks, the murders that no one sees in the age of security cameras)
