Should have kept mine sealed. But it's my only FEVER vinyl and I wanted to play it :D

My highest median is only £164.88 which is the vinyl of Charli XCX's Number 1 Angel/Pop 2. The reissue of Pop 2 doesn't seem to have taken much of a shine off of it.

My weirdest high value item is the cassette (!) of Selected Ambient Works Vol 2 by Aphex Twin. The median is £117.93 and there are no copies for sale in the UK. Some blighter paid £220 for it.
 
If I arrange by median, then it's the same top 5 but a slightly different order.

I know - it's weird. Of course, there is a view on Discogs that a sealed record should never be graded because you don't know if it has any manufacturing defects. But that's record collectors for you. Absolute weirdos. :D

do CDs usually sell on discogs easily? most of mine are in mint/near mint condition. i've just listed about 20.

it recommended me to put my Dannii - Girl (deluxe 2007) super jewel at €60 (:D) so I put it on for 50/best offer. seems wildly excessive to me but let's SEE :disco:
 
Yes, I've bought CDs from there as well. More often vinyl or cassettes, though.

The recommended price is often horseshit. Take a look at what other people are selling for and go from there.
 
As a buyer it shows you highest, lowest and median price - does it give you any more info than that if you are selling?
 
What a fucking binfire Discogs is becoming. I expired my items (temporarily removed them) when I was in Sweden and when I wanted to reload them it took a day and half of them were missing. So I expired again and it just wouldn’t work. I decided to delete everything, which gives you a downloadable excel file to reupload, which again took a day to do and when I reuploaded, it’s marked all of my sold history as “for sale”, so I woke up yesterday to about 50 orders I then had to refund as they were all long gone rarities.

The only thing I could do was turn shipping off to everywhere except Yugoslavia, with a price of £1000, but that’s just meant I’ve had another 50 people messaging saying “you’re in the UK but it says you don’t sell to the UK, please can you sell me this item?”.

I’ve managed to delete again and have given up for the time being, but fucking hell…
 
Darling where did you get that FURNITURE? If I ever GET ROUND to getting all my GROOVES out from under a BLANKET in the GARAGE and find somewhere to PUT THEM, I want ONE OF THOSE

It's an IKEA KALLAX and it's been a REAL BOON. (And looks much tidier now the floors have been done! :D )
 
Aye, Discogs is a shambles now. Pages won't load, links don't work, the new colleaction view is pretty ghastly, I get no alerts whatsoever (I used to get 5 or 6 per day minimum) and sellers are obviously struggling given the number of text additions to listings about shipping. How does it make money? Does it take a cut from sales?
 
I'm still getting alerts, probably one a day on average. I've got a watchlist with about 30 items on it, only a handful of which are rare or rarely come on sale, but it's invariably the same two or three I get alerts for.
 
I've considered getting a Kallax or two, buy largely because you can get lovely cat boxes to fit in them.

Yeah, it takes 8% I think.

With eBay now not charging sellers, I’m tempted to just move there but it feels like too much effort.
 
I get a lot fewer sales than I used to too, but I presumed that was just cause a lot of my attractive stock had gone…

I bought 3 Kallaxes and I wish I'd gone for one more. Perfect for vinyl but, yes, versatile too.
 
I love my Kallax but would like another one really, though Mr Sheena would HIT THE FUCKING ROOF as I promised not to fill this one and HERE WE ARE AGAIN :D
