Do you still listen to music by cancelled artists?

Surely Kanye was past his best anyway? I assume his sales in recent years have been way down. There's a fresh new batch of youngsters doing the same thing. The MAGA stuff was dodgy but hardly cancellable.

Where have you been? He's a raving mad xenophobic/anti-Islamic extreme right wing conspiracy theorist! And an arsehole!
Hun he is a nobody in the States so there was nothing to cancel here, I have just not been in the loop I'm afraid

Kanye seems more unwell than anything, to the admittedly limited extent that I've paid attention to him.

I don't think you can really compare people like him or Sinead O'Connor to actual rapists, pedophiles and racists in terms of the ethics of listening to their music.

Morrissey is big among certain demographics (Latinx) in the US but the fuss still seems to have passed his US fans by. I think because it would mean knowing about the nuances of British politics.

I'm not sure there's much nuance involved when it comes to that miserable old turd, but there is something uniquely British about his particular brand of mental.

I view Morrissey much as I view my lack of ability to stop smoking. I can't give up The Smiths, although much of his solo stuff can balls. I mean, the man talks out of his arse, but he saves his mouth to make sweet sounds and I'm far too addicted to the sound to stop now. I don't think I would buy anything by him now or go see him again.

My Rolf enjoyment is also now spoiled. I remember teaching my nephew to sing 'Two little boys' and then crying whenever he did... maybe you had to be there, but it was so darn cute!
