I watched this last night and thought it was good. The whole premise of dystopian nightmares can be a bit repetitive but the styling and setting gave it a twist.
I knew nothing of the plot and little of the drama. I thought Styles was better in this than the gay policeman film but lets be honest, hes winning no awards any time soon.
Yes the plot was fairly easy to guess. I put the plane/rumbles down to flaws in the simulation, much like the residents all having similar backgrounds in terms of where they met. Once Alice started to pick at her reality the simulation glitched. I think sometimes when stories in this genre are full of multilayer twist they can’t get criticism but not everything needs a Brookeresque OMG.
