Well, really quick. Her uptempo disco longing of Holiday is the Madonna gift that keeps on giving for me. One of her career ultimates - the throwaway feel is something she's mauled at whenever returning to this essence (often justified), but it's never been matched or even came close to being replicated. Vocally, it's that sigh-moan she does here that boosts it's already considerable charge of erotic escapism.

Ray of Light. The song, the video, the Oprah performance - it's full-pelt Madge in the most undeniable fashion (and the fashion was very of that time - think Phobeo Buffet, Darma & Greg). Grace Jones' Pull Up to the Bumper another clear reference point for the video. The Sasha remix is almost as essential as the original. The heavens open for the middle 8 in either edit. The rest just swallows you whole.
