The storm in a weirdo teacup around Deeper Understanding was the moment I permanently EXTRICATED myself from online Kate loon groups/forums - the chorus is literally from the point of view of a computer, I mean if there was EVER an excuse to use a distorted robot-y effect on a track...

I would rather it was her distorted voice on the chorus rather than Bertie's but whatevs, it's still a fantastic version

I'm just listening to 50 Words for Snow for the first time, since it's snowing here. It's a lovely, moody, slightly jittery set of songs...

I'm especially fond of "Snowed in at Wheeler Street".

20 - 14 to Kate Bush. I think Bjork's singles over the past decade might leave a bit to be desired but I think she's still put out some interesting albeit challenging albums. Vulnicura was beautiful.

 
I enjoyed Vulnicura but it was awfully long. Apparently Utopia has the same problem.
