It’s not often moopy has a survivor final with two funky-certified 11/10 moments but here we are

I was listening to Everywhere a lot earlier this year but I’m all about Gypsy at the moment so that’s my final decision

Although I think Everywhere will win and I’m ok with it
 
Everywhere is just one of the best pop songs ever. you absolutely can't not love it.

Seriously, when I looked in the last round, I thought "FINALLY, GYPSY IS FUCKING OFF".

BUT NO! HERE WE ARE AGAIN!
 
I mean, as I said at the start, I don't even MIND Gypsy but this game has really made me begin to ACTIVELY DISLIKE IT :D
 
I was definitely too young at the time to appreciate but Tango In The Night was such an achievement after the Rumours behemoth was probably a poisoned chalice for a few years and the pressure too big. They came back with a pop masterpiece a decade later. And of course the unusual trajectory that it took about 5 singles to get there… Everywhere and Little Lies were released way after the album was, and so it was an album that grew over time rather than at first. Very unusual for a legend act that usually get one or two singles and done that far into their career.

I kind of agree, but you have to remember they weren't TECHNICALLY a singles act by this point in their career. The album did big numbers right out the gate really, but the singles releases kept it entirely afloat and sustained it. I don't think there was any design to that, by the way. The chart nerd in me loves the fact that they had a "one hit, then one flop" trajectory in the UK too. It was all very strange!
 
They're obviously both classics, but neither are the band's BEST song.
