HAPPY BIRTHDAY RJN SATURDAY

Belting out the hymn hits of the day was one of my favourite parts of school.
I was cold, I was naked, Were you there, were you there?

Though in primary school they crossed out that line on the projector as people would giggle

I preferred the mid tempo hymns to the ballady hymns or anything too uptempo.

Any hymn that you can imagine being covered by the Liz, Natasha and Jenny line up of Atomic Kitten is my kind of hymn.

I used to mime along to the hymns at school because I didn't agree with them.

I think I may have created the lip sync.
Omg same!!!! When I was in 5th grade my school put on a presentation and the principal said something like “we all believe in something different but we all believe in a higher power” and I was like no?

I used to weirdly enjoy the morning hymns cos it woke me up for the day.

The best one was Guide Me O Thou Great Redeemer because if you sat right in front of the teachers you could hear them doing harmonies on the “bread of heaven” bit.

Not related to lipsync but once in primary school i was asked to read out a poem for the rest of the children and ended up in principal's office for laughing at it and for saying that it was ridiculous.
The poem
