Hollyoaks nearly DEAD

Well the Late episode was a bit less CAMP

I don't really understand why on earth Dodger was in Liverpool, when he'd been in a plane explosion / held at gunpoint / witnessed his father's death only an hour before. Did he really go "sorry everybody, gotta run, police report of JORGIE PORTER trying to make another comeback"?

That explains why, in the middle of the disaster after all of the aforementioned trauma, he casually says he needs to go as his shift's about to start. I mean, let the poor fucker have a day's compassionate leave!

The anniversary was terrible! And i'm including Brookside in that! That wasn't Brookie. It was more like watching Barbara and Jim than Bobby and Sheila

Brookside can stay dead, it's not for the modern world. (Phil Redmond cameo was a nice touch though)

So it appears that last year's special really was their testing the waters for a full blown Hollyoaks / Brookside MERGER

Aside from retconning one of their characters to have been Mick all along, they are now apparantly bringing both Tinhead and Nikki Shadwick in permanently. Also more appearances from Sinbad.

Surely the Diane / Jacqui Dixon reveal can't be far off

I was surprised to see Brooke Vincent has joined the cast… surely she could’ve gone back to Corrie with open arms

She can probably do both - being on Hollyoaks is like being in Witness Protection these days. Do this for however many months/years until it gets axed and then give Corrie a call.
