Hardly anyone. Probably just my mum to be honest.

Mandy and I don't tend to do presents to each other, we go away instead.

My two brothers never need anything.

So I give people fudge and they love me for it :D

I have a big family, but the kids are now mostly adults, so that cuts things down a bit. Also felt very sad rubbing my Mum off the Excel spreadsheet I do every year a few days ago :(

I go all out at Christmas, though. I buy Mr Sheena loads as I just love buying/ giving. There's 13 other people on the list, my brother and his wife, the one remaining u-18 niece, four friends, my godchildren and then assorted kids of close friends. A few of those turn 18 this year, though, so will stop them then. Two I don't even really see much anymore, but they lost their Dad when they were both very young and so I've always liked to carry it on.

NONE usually. Although wife's employers have bought me big boxes of chocolates, good ones, Thorntons Continentals usually so not cheap, every year since my daughter died in 2018. First met them then when they came to see us. Must feel sorry for me. Very rich, houses all over the world but so lovely and down to earth. They think the world of her. She helped to bring their daughter up since birth, she's 20 now and doing medicine at uni.

So this year I should get them something for all of them. It's not good to just take and take is it? Obviously she buys for them.

Both parents are dead and fallen out with my sister, no contact now for nearly 4 years so none to buy there and me and wife don't exchange gifts by mutual agreement. Have bought her a chocolate orange though as they were on offer at a quid last week in Tesco.

My youngest nieces turned 18 earlier this month, and I've (usually) stopped buying for them all (7) at that point. Or at least the ones who are earning themselves. But now I have 5 great nieces and nephews, so there is no escape.

I'm going to batch make loads of cocktails and give them all out to older family at Christmas. Other than the young ones, the only family member I'll buy for is my mum.

Then there's Mr L, but his is very much squirreling stuff away throughout the year rather than an expensive year end splurge.

I've not really had any friend present discussions yet, but over the last few years they have tended to be pretty token small gifts, and then perhaps deciding to go out for a meal or to the theatre instead of buying a bigger gift.

Hard to imagine why a man who revels in cutting off peoples gas supply and criticises peoples cooking has no one to buy presents for. 🤔

Wife buys quite a few for her friends and puts both our names on. Don't buy a single card either..

Sorry, forgot, usually buy the three kids next door, 16,13 and 9, something. Was a chocolate orange each last year.

I just find it pointless with friends, you’re cancelling each other out really with stuff you would get yourself if you really wanted it. I don’t mind buying but we just tend to go out for a meal or a concert instead of pressies.

I’ll still get my mum, 2 sisters and niece as it’s nice to open some things from under the tree on Xmas morning. I just transfer money into my 3 great nephews (all under 9) accounts for them as they have all the shit they need from everyone else but I let them do the transfers themselves on my online banking so they somehow feel involved. I set up trustee accounts for them specifically for birthdays and Christmases.

My 2 nieces and my nephew. I exchange gifts with one friend (it became a fun challenge and we're sticking to it) and among my family, we just do charity donations now.

Not that many, as I don't have nieces or nephews yet.

It'll be a joint present for my parents - usually a trip away. Then Secret Santa for one of my siblings. Joint trip away for my boyfriend plus a few small bits probably. And something for his parents, plus another Secret Santa for his family, and one last Secret Santa for work.
