They have a fifth (!) album coming out later this year apparently, and hottest man in pop (THEO!) now has long hair

I've always wanted to like Hurts SO MUCH MORE than I actually do. Obviously the first album singles 'Wonderful Life', 'Stay', 'Sunday' and 'Better Than Love' are all brilliant, but literally nothing else from them has ever matched up for me - and I find their Christmas song really repetitive and boring.

At least they are usually reliable for some STUNNING artwork

They seem to be quite popular in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for some reason. Perhaps because they’re sort of PLEASANT?

Personally I prefer old Schlager-Queen Andrea Berg when it comes to that sort of arrangement but horses for courses

I once saw poor brave Hurts play Lovebox in London, on what was already a downgraded main stage due to poor ticket sales.
It was literally THREE ROWS DEEP at the front of the stage I felt so bad for them.

The first album was brilliant but beyond that, it was DROSS. I bought the next two, but NAH.

I have the first album only and can’t recall anything from it. I checked the German charts and the first three albums were all top 10 and were on the chart for multiple weeks. The fourth was top 20 too but only spent two weeks on the chart so I imagine past sales and live gigs maintain them over that direction.
