Kleerup and Carola

I really liked his last album from a few years ago. He had a decent single earlier this year (Kleerup own vocals though so mileage may vary).

I'm sure he will come through with something suitably impactful for Carola.

Hoping to fast forward eight months and find Carol's got a UK number one single :disco:

It did cross my mind how wonderful (if unlikely) it would be for her to score a proper hit with something like this.

That voice is positively ACHING to be over a decent electro/ house track.

Given the time of year I’m a bit worried it might just be a bit of gentle electro backing to some of her religious festive nonsense, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

I’ve seen it described as “muted and warming gospel pop”. I’m not writing it off quite yet

Is this it?

I’ve had two separate people message me about how annoyed they are about this.

WHO THE FUCK THOUGHT “KLEERUP + CAROLA- WHAT THE WORLD WANTS IS A BALLAD”?

Let's never speak of this unfortunate incident again, but here's something a bit more exciting Carola related, Ina Wroldsen has done a dark electro remake of 'Främling'.

Going on that jacket above, Carola has seen (or taken) The Substance (2024). Now where is the better version of Carola (and the better version of this song)?
