I swear nobody can top her in the photo shoot game. That woman was made for the camera

Wht did none of those shots actually make it to the final set? The first picture alone would have made a better cover.

third pic is really an all timer. wild that it wasn't used for any artwork

I enjoyed a LOT of Tension II. Indeed I think there are tracks on that which could have been substituted with some of the weaker ones (Hands, 10 Out of 10) on the original album.

Same here. Tension suffered slightly from Padam and the title track being the only songs like it, whereas on Tension II they were all a little too much in that wheelhouse, so a mix of both is perfect.

Good as Gone and Kiss Bang Bang work so much better on the original album (possibly Taboo too). I fucking love Kiss Bang Bang.

In fact someone needs to come up with an ultimate Tension tracklist.
I think I might have posted this elsewhere but this is mine:

1. Lights Camera Action
2. Padam Padam
3. Tension
4. Good As Gone
5. Taboo
6. My Oh My
7. Hold On To Now
8. Edge Of Saturday Night
9. Kiss Bang Bang
10. Things We Do For Love
11. Vegas High
12. 10 Out Of 10
13. Shoulda Left Ya
14. Story

My Oh My killed my interest in Tension II. I think it's my least favourite thing by her ever.

I feel like something like this as the tracklist would put Tension up there with her best. I'd ditch 10 out of 10 for You Still Get My High and include Midnight Ride but apart from that this would pretty much be my choices too.

Yeah, I couldn't leave out You Still Get Me High. It's one of my favourites from the original album.

I'd also fiddle it so that One More Time and Green Light ended up on Disco. They are much more at home there.

Hate it too but it's pretty easy to avoid on Tension II.
I think my 'issue' with the album is I LOVED Tension I, still think it's one of her very best albums, but definitely was guilty of overplaying it. Then I'm not very fond of Dance Alone, liked Midnight Ride initially but got bored by it quickly, and then strongly dislike My Oh My. EOSN is easily my favourite of the four, but that took a while to grow on me. Basically I think I was at the point of Kylie exhaustion by the time of the album release, with 4 singles, none of which I loved, and the rest of them did just basically feel like leftovers/alsorans like @the octy and the ivy said, even though I see why she did it that way in terms of timing and the tour.

Fairly confident I've not played Tension II all year, and I don't really feel inclined to change that, even though thinking about it, I'm probably in a better position to judge it fairly now than I was at the time in terms of Kylie fatigue.

I was really surprised to see Kylie on my Spotify Wrapped at #5 this year. I'd have guessed she would have been around #10. But I think even #5 is the lowest she's been since Disco.

Actually I'd ditch My Oh My on @Pingu's list and replace it with One More Time.

Bonus tracks would be:

Somebody To Love and Hello to satisfy both aspects of the album.

Aside from EOSN I dislike all of the collabs on Tension II (and the original album for that matter) to varying degrees so just pretend they don't exist. Midnight Ride is not a bad song but I resent it being released when it was (it would have made far more sense during the Golden era) and for that reason I don't seem to have much time for it.

Tension two is all fine, including the four (five with Lights?) pre-singles…but like Lolly I really like the first tension album and didn’t really need all of that so soon afterwards.

The original Tension album I still think is really quite strong and easily my favourite album probably since Body Language.

Also I do really like Someone For Me but it's a bit faceless as far as Kylie songs go. Maybe that could have the bonus track treatment too.

Can some kind soul move the recent glut of messages into an appropriate thread please

Oh I totally forgot about Lights Camera Action. Like that a lot, but not top tier Kylie. And not enough in terms of damage control in terms of the singles before it.

Fantastic video though, obviously.

Agog at the My Oh My hate. It's one of my recent Kylie go to's.

Imagine a Kylie fan having basic taste

I realised only yesterday I've never once unwrapped my Tension II vinyl...

I love Tension 2, I took to it quicker than I did the original Tension, which for me suffered because I was expecting more after Padam.

Good as Gone, Kiss Bang Bang, Taboo, Lights Camera Action are all top notch for me.

A bit late (!), but I've just listened to tension and think it's a really good pop album. Highlights were padam padam, hold on to now, you still get me high and story. I enjoyed all the tracks though.

Will you be wearing your Taylor Swift trousers too? We need a photo and Kylie won't mind she's not like that.
