I always do stuff like this. When I'm doing something I just can't be arsed with I have to force myself to continue until it's done because "tomorrow never comes" and whatever I don't finish, I will not be returning to. Washing the car the other weekend (first time since 2019 so it was really bad) I was ready for giving up halfway through and spent the last half telling myself "just do the back corner up to the door and you can sit down and have a fag", next was "just do the door and the front wing and you can have a brew" and finally it was "just do the alloys and job's a good 'un". It's literally the only way I can complete tasks nowadays.

When you've finished mowing your lawn could you pop over to Bolton and do mine please? Hurry up though because I reckon it's going to rain in the next hour or so. You'll also need to bring your mower because Mr F blew ours up.

I'm not sure who or what I've turned into, but I did a HIIT workout from an app yesterday. I thought it was reasonably easy at the time, but whatever those muscles on the insides of your thighs are called are aching like crazy today.

I've just discovered Only Connect and University Challenge are both back next Monday. This may have made my Sunday.

I just met up with a friend and her kid for a walk, and we had to go on the beach, which I try to avoid at all costs because it's super white fine sand that gets everywhere. But the child loves the beach and now I'm covered in sand and so is my home

Had plans for today but ended up sacking them all off for a nap and an extended listening session. We've had Chappell Roan, The Dead C, The Fall, Peter Tosh, Current 93, Ivor Cutler and Miles Davis on. I think next will be Chappell again.
