“Lily Allen performs West End Girl” just reads the same as any other tour supporting a new album. Yeah it’s primarily focused on the new album but there’s gonna be something in there for the hen do’s.

It’s taken years for Beyonce to make people realise the hits ain’t coming by performing all her boring songs only

Personally I think gigs should last just long enough to film yourself doing a viral dance routine to the 30 seconds of a track you know off Tik Tok, and then MAYBE an encore where they bring on the lady off Chicken Shop Dates, and then everyone should go home.

To be fair though, that was her first tour since The Girlie Show.

Drowned World was my first Madonna concert and it was fabulous.

All this is creating is probably more buzz when she does announce a HITS / Anniversary tour of Alright Still next year and does arenas and headlines the festivals. This won't put many people OFF

No mercury nomination for Lily. The industry hates her after the Brits snub. Lots of more mainstream acts nominated too, so I thought this had a shoe-in and was hoping for a rousing Mercury PERF. Oh well. In other news, I didn't get to see her UK run of shows but I am going to her NYC date!
