Yes, I love it. However many times we go to London, we always end up down there. The view really is perfect, it's busy, but not necessarily clueless tourist busy and everything is on tap. And yes all those venues, plus there's a rare Tesco across the bridge, which makes drinking down there cheapI've lived in London for nearly 18 years and the Southbank is still the place where I FEEL I'm in London, maybe it's the river, maybe it's the skyline, I don't know. But that's London to me. It helps that many places I enjoy are around that area: Southbank Centre, the BFI, the Tate Modern, Pleasuredrome...

we need hotel areas for that as well.
