Ah, 80s Trivial Pursuit. All about hoping the question about someone having two penises doesn't* come up when your mum and/or any grandparent is playing.

* by which I mean "does".
 
Just had to have some coke to stop me going into a clinical food coma.
 
I think I've had a stomach bug on top of the influx of Xmas food, which has been tricky.
 
In other news, I don't really understand Dr Who. Something about the direction or general tone of it all.
 
I've literally had two alcoholic drinks last night and two today.

Food has been grand though.
 
We've just had a couple of fire engines 'round. I don't know what's happened but next door had a window hanging of its hinges and they've all left now so there doesn't seem to have been an actual fire. :confused:

Right I need to go bed. Watching Strictly with Mum and she’s telling me there’s something off about Sam Ryder and she doesn’t know what. ‘Mum, it all makes sense if you imagine he used to be hooked on SKAG’
 
I'm listening to Daniel Kitson's "A Story For Christmas" and it is absolutely wonderful, even by his high standards.

Don’t get me started on 80s Trivial Pursuit. My Dad bought our version in America, so half of the questions were about Baseball and Presidents.
 
My mum is now panicking that she forgot to record Call The Midwife on her crappy Freeview recorder. I bought her an Apple TV and set it all up. Have explained that all she needs to do is speak into the microphone to “Play Call The Midwife”, but she thinks it’s too complicated. She would rather go through 5 steps on her 10 year old set top box to find something.

I am very dosed up with a cold and my drink intake today has been lemsips, water and tea.

The day was nice though. Tomorrow will be the test as there are more people coming round.

One wee spin of Low's Christmas EP and then I'm chucking it in. Going to try the HMV/Fopp sale tomorrow.
 
I feel like I'm just beginning to sober up. I've not been drinking heavily, but consistently since about 10am, until I had my last one a couple of hours ago.

Beginning to feel peckish again, too.
