Morning rat fans!

I went to see Cabaret on Saturday and one of the two people I was with has tested positive for Covid. I feel a bit tired and jaded and under the weather and I've done two tests, both of which I think have a faint line and Mr Sheena thinks don't, they're THAT light. Other than the fact I spent a lot of time in a car with my Mother yesterday, the irritant here is that I'm SUPPOSED to be off to Krakow on Wednesday morning, so this has gotten RIGHT ON MY BREASTS.

Also particularly frustrating as I've spent the last three weeks MID-BATTLE with my GP about getting a Covid vaccine as I'm technically not eligible according to the new list of eligibility, but no one is paying attention to the fact that they don't REALLY KNOW what's underlying my cancer, it's likely an immune system issue, it's normally related to HIV but I don't HAVE HIV and so the eligibility list rules me out and NO ONE is talking to each other between my cancer doc and my GP, without even starting on the fact I've asked for the GP to call me and been told "no phone appointments until July", which is absolutely insane. I always just got one in Round 1 as my Mum's carer up until now so haven't bothered changing the reason.

To add to that, I've just found ANOTHER FUCKING LUMP on my foot which will need to be HOOFED OUT as well.

UGH- WHY IS MIDDLE AGE SO FUCKING HARD?

I am currently sat on my office sofa doing the bare minimum, have lost all my fucks the past couple of weeks.

I picked the vid up a couple of weeks back and that's when I lost all my motivation, so I feel you (about that bit)

Went for a walk and bought some CDs.

That James Acaster album is a weird, funky bastard.

I think they said that any line, however faint is a positive test.

Well yes, I'm aware of that, but read what I said- I could see a very faint line and Mr Sheena couldn't. We weren't sure.

I've done another test since and doesn't appear to be a line at all. So fuck knows. If it's blank tomorrow, I'm GOING.
