I was absolutely gutted then they changed to Paracetemol only on day 2 when I had my fanny installed. C'mon lads, it's a big deal, that morphine drip is just stood there doing nothing, load her up, eh?

Morphine is the dream...

Oh yes, and sorry, got caught up in med dreams- GOOD LUCK AG!

Currently enjoying a tits out Monday at the lake. 30°C, cloudless skies and tomorrow is a national holiday here and it's supposed to be just as glorious :disco:

There was a balloon in there as well.

Don't ask me, I'm not a scientist.

I need to pee twice before they'll let me go. I just pissed a load of blood, so that was nice.

That sounds beyond ghastly, ugh.

Are you allowed to eat and drink again? Understandable if you don't feel like it after such a day but if you can compartmentalise it at all, it helps pass the time and provides a distraction.

I've eaten everything I've been offered.

And I'm HOME

Fantastic. Now, do they need to test everything to see what action they are taking going forward? I’m assuming they haven’t told you that yet? Hopefully they have got it all and that you are well on the way to recovery.

Well, like they were at the very start, they say it's different to what they were expecting, which "might be a good thing". They're still treating it as bladder cancer until they know otherwise. So some hope, but prepping for the worst, hoping for the best is my continued plan. I find out in three weeks.

The worst part of today (aside from the godawful pain), was knowing my mum and husband were outside for 10 hours and they couldn't come to see me and I didn't have my phone. That and being in recovery for 2 hours, with a catheter down my bell end, while they sourced a bed was super long.

That said the nurses were fanfuckingtastic. Teachers and nurses are in a constant state of admiration for each other!

I will be praying for good news for you darling. The best wedding present of all would be some good news on all of this. Please take time to heal, and relax and spoil yourself as that sounds like quite the ordeal you have been through.

It all sounds very unpleasant Ag, but I'm glad you're back home and recovering. Make sure you rest!

I'm trying really hard to rest. I can move around, but I keep forgetting the wound is deep inside me and doesn't really hurt. So I'm really forcing myself to be static. The main indicator... is pissing blood. It's so gross but the best indication I have of recovery.
