I was given an Amazon voucher by my work so I put it towards the Fela Kuti box set. I'd bought a couple of standalone CDs at a £10 and the 29CD/1DVD box was £70 so it made sense to just jump in rather than buy any more standalone discs. I'm 2 discs in and had to go back to disc one because it's so utterly brilliant. This could take a while to get through.

It looks like it's literally just opened i.e. possibly today so I'll need to investigate further. I'm not sure where you are but it's close to the Grand Ole Opry.

It's blown my mind a bit. Some huge ensembles, 20-odd people for some of the recordings. It's not chronological which is annoying (apparently the result of originally being three different 9 CD boxes) but there' are worse things and it was an absolute bargain for the contents.
