Let me get the ball rolling.

Felt like starting this thread after being reminded of this trashy but fantastic Japanese ode to the aspiring Japanese "It girls". :disco:

I get that, cause although I have been to Japan, I have lived and have been in England most my life. :D

At the time I set up my account, I was still studying at University and though my degree was in French, I was doing an extra module about Japanese language and culture, and that really got my interest into finding out more about Japan in genreal. And I think the idea of creating haikus really drew my attention (never been good at poetry AT ALL, but I can actually string together Haikus quite easily), so when I did set up an account on here, it was the first thing that came to mind. :altaf:

I was the Chubu/Kansai regions of Japan, so got to visit and explore Nagoya and Kyoto. Absolutely loved being there. Would've liked to make it to Tokyo but just couldn't fit it into my travel, hoping to go next year

nice choice! Not sure i know much to do in Nagoya but my end of Kansai is much better!

let me know if you reschedule it and end up in Kansai again!

Yes, absolutely loved Kansai! It's got the right mix of bustling city (but not packed) and calm countryside for me.

Will do, that would be awesome! I'm sure if I do go to Tokyo, I'd still take some time to go to Kansai again anyway.

From what a Dutch friend told me, this was a girl group that was formed as part of a storyline in a soap opera (kinda like the Banned in Eastenders :D) in the Netherlands:
