I also thought it was a bit of fun once we got going but noticed a bit of TENSION between both sides.

I agree this seems like the most sensible solution, but I think it's a shame as i quite enjoyed the impromptuness of them previosuly.

I've just realised that the Eurovision song time limit is the same as the breathing exercise I do.

I think there's a lesson for me to take there.

There's a lesson to be learned here.

We should be handing control over to @Star, who will get her laminator out, organise everything to within an inch of its life, but we'll all feel it's ENTIRELY SPONTANEOUS.

I opted out of the competing threads, and I seriously had to watch shitty old comedies on E4 for an hour before I felt calm enough to go to bed :D

I was so aware they'd got so messy. But you try controlling those LOONS!!
 
I kind of enjoy the mess within the contest itself. It's when it ends when the fallout gets too much for me. And that's why I think working within some sort of agreed structure may be useful.

As boring as that sounds...
 
I wasn't involved in this, but my filthy lurker of a boyfriend messaged me to vote in the poll when there was a deadlock to try and push it towards MF (though I think people changed their votes after that?). All I wanted was to play Animal Crossing and update the Rina Sawayama topic that hardly anyone looks at, in peace :(
 
By the time of the vote I had no intention of watching either. And it was quite obvious that both were going to go ahead anyway, regardless.

Just looking at the ESC threads last night, and @Dark Carnival is going hard for that elusive POTW #1 next week. And with @Penelope AWOL, he must stand a good chance.

It would be AWFUL if he was THWARTED again...
 
What an excellent way to make me panic and squander whatever chance I had to finally get that #1! :evil:
