I was just reading a contemporary review which compared it favourably to Portishead, and while that might be a *bit* of a stretch, they certainly evolved their production style from their early-mid 90s fare more elegantly than most.
Gorgeous vocal from Marie too. I believe she’d often cite it as her favourite Roxette song.
