Run Away With Friday

My and my mates have been using the (Y) sarcastically before these cunts were born

I have a text message thread between me and a client, my side is a weekly "wages set up for Friday" text and his side is a weekly thumbs up reply. Yes we are both old :D

Honestly I have no idea what most of the emojis mean anyway. The different variations of faces can keep me looking through for a suitable one for ten minutes while I try to imagine what they all mean.

Hi my loves, I have just had to send Vera home in a taxi after us enjoying two bottles of wine. Poor V isn’t a drinker, and we were meant to have a BBQ but since the weather was so DISGUSTING we headed in to the bar and she played constant Madonna and only had bar food. No toppy carrots but she did play Material Girl at least 5 times. :D

I detest the thumbs emoji. It's lazy and shows a lack of interest in the conversation in my opinion.

My Friday plans have gone to pot, and I am now thinking of starting a WITOY thread. Are these things allowed in this era of Moopy?
Oh very much so

You just need to drink for a couple of hours more before you get going.

It's so cold and wet, I've just had to put a cardigan on :)

I only really use thumbs up in WhatsApp group chats as a passive aggressive acknowledgement.

I’m not sure I’m all that good at being passive aggressive. :D No beating around the bush with me.

We’re TOO PURE for πŸ‘Ώ

:horny: is for more serious and 😈 is more joking. Very different

We need a SMILIE guidebook :o
I worry that the younger Moopers will lie to us about what things mean.

”No, no, πŸ† means that you want some baba ghanoush.”
