Aww :( She was my favorite. What a basic icon 😭 But that was shit.

Lucy's Joan Rivers was IN-SANE.
Amethyst was really good too!
 
I was so over the twins, god what a horrible duo. Why come to compete when you’re gonna do everything the same? Hated their cheap ass cosplay runway. At least one is gone.

Lucy was competent but we’ve already seen this Joan before also his confessional look is like a rubbish gay from the early 2000s and it’s triggering me.

Mistress was decent, I like her. The runway was weak and the snatch was a bit chaotic but she’s one of my faves.

I decided that I hate Estities. Everything she does is awful.

Amethyst was decent but the runway was bad. Robin’s Karen was a crime but the other bottom 3 were so bad that she was saved. Jax’s Mona Lisa looked so crunchy.

This does not feel like a runway season, nothing memorable so far.
 
Oh and one more thing about Estities, why did she spit on the pregnancy belly when she was getting ready? You’re on tv, I do not need to see you drop phlegm on your costume. Gross.
 
Ru came wrapped in carpet, Michelle's make-up looked like stitches and all of Joan Rivers' jokes were existing Joan Rivers lines. The twins flatlining every line. I liked Rosie, but do wish she'd held the accent longer than the first sentence. The pit crew jew must still be on the mtv books as he was a contestant on their long running dating show. Watching live now, it really is much too swift, but perhaps this will pan out better when the numbers are whittled down.
 
I've no idea which one she was in the Snatch and have zero interest in finding it out. I'm totally blaming MTV on their casting.
 
Well at least THAT lipsync is out of the way! And we have one less twin so that’s good, but really I would have put Aura in the bottom 2.

I was pre-rolling my eyes at the Twins getting a double save pass, so I'm pleasantly surprised they actually got rid of one*. I thought Miley was worse than Tricia Peytas, but I have no idea who the latter is so maybe the poor quality of the impersonation just wasn't as jarring. Also Sugar did seem like a mess in that 'choreographed' lip sync.

Weird song to give them too. Have they done it on Tiktok before or something? I wouldn't have them down as deep cut Pat Benetar girls.

Snatch game was quite decent by current standards though. I guess putting it in so early meant they could edit out a lot of the flatliners. I did also note that the Joan was just reciting the hits, but she was at least able to make it seem spontaneous - a good job, if not an all-timer. Rosie was very quick too, despite the wandering accent.

Salina had a couple of OK ideas, but she ruined it with her constant shouting. Did Sasha Colby and Mona Lisa even say anything?
 
According to Untucked, the twins had planned to go out together if one was sent home, but the queens talked them down. It was an interesting episode, in terms of seeing a different side of them. I definitely don't think we've seen the last of Sugar.

Wasn't Saucy Santana done just the other day? Jax's Monalisa was also a weak imitation of the Spanish season 1.

Yeah, bottom of the barrel now. And the contestants themselves seem like inoriginal loons rehashing the iconic lines from the earlier seasons. The established pre-Drag Race queens have probably been either cast or are too old or not too keen.

The C.U.N.T. is truly not there anymore.

Oh Ru you should’ve sent them both home plus the dreadful Estities too.

I thought the Snatch Game was overall good, but the runway really lacking.

I didn’t like the long episodes, but 40 mins for 14 queens is too short. They skipped the judge panel discussion and I thought the runway seemed rushed and where was Sasha in the Snatch Game?

So happy they already got rid of one of the twins, they’re more annoying together, but I do hope they don’t give the other one a favourable edit now. It kid of feels like they’re going to have her in the finale.

I liked Estities mention of the last supper but everything else about her is horrible.
 
What a chaotic episode and I sort of enjoyed it :D Snatch Game was quite fun, all in all. I'm still not sold on the 40 minute run-time, I feel like the US Drag Race was one of the few/only franchises where it's so overstuffed that 1 hour felt like enough. Untucked is proving really useful, I feel like I'm actually seeing the queens a bit more.

Especially Sugar and Spice, and I can't imagine the plan was to have the lipsync happen so early (thought obviously it was going to happen), but the judgement was fair after that dreadful Snatch. Surprised anyone feels that Spice is lined up for a finale, that Miley edit was a hatchet job (as was the impression).

I also see each week that everyone seems to be violently phobic about anyone sharing their trauma, but as directed as the show is, the trauma is real and I do think it really does mean something to see that on the screen.

Loosey did nail it, if they were all old Joan lines then fine but she knew exactly when and how to deliver them, so fair play. Some of these dismal queens should count their lucky stars the twins had storyline, because there were some awful efforts - notably Jax, Aura, Robin, Malaysia. Estitties isn't my favourite generally, but I liked her more this time, it was a big swing at least, which was better than just sitting there.

I said Poppy had the scent of evil last time, but I also wanted to say Loosey's Screaming breakdown clock always seems to be 1 minute to midnight, those mad eyes. And the pluckedness of it all in the first few minutes where Luxx was trying to say she was 2nd!

1) Malaysia looking down on people whilst being utterly boring (in a nice dress)
2) Aura trying to find a personality by doing that manic face-stretching thing she keeps doing
3) Jax shutting down something fun with her spiteful small mouth
4) Mistress being a poisonous old toad (despite being one of the youngest there)
 
Sugar and Spice were both really awful but somehow Aura was even worse. Though I guess she at least was aware of it.
 
At least Aura’s runway was interesting. I think that’s what saved her (other than them wanting the twins to lipsync together).
 
They really do. I'm onto the weeks old BendelaCreme and Jinkx guesting one (for the opening episode). So far they are delivering what you want from them ("go do your bitter thing" my favourite line so far, from DeLa to Bianca).
 
Why does Visage now say “Emmy-nominated gay shit” at the end of videos. Haven’t they won loads of Emmys?

Or do the Emmys have a YouTube content category now? :zombie:
 
I’m not sure how they’re “sleeping” on Estitties. Bless her, she’s appalling- the runways have all been hideous.

But I guess this week there WAS worse in that Snatch Game. Is it time to retire the format for a bit? It used to be the highlight and a milestone, they’re now having to piss it away early just to get something vaguely passable out of it.
 
I do think Loosey deserved the win, though- pre prepared lines or not, using them in the right place and batting Ru back is exactly the skill.

And, apart from Rosie, there wasn’t really much competition.
 
Also, how the hell did they leave Amethyst’s quip about Ru’s “tan” in?
