Saturday sounds… different?

I had the same scenario this time last year @Ag. Ended up somewhere better. It was a ballache though.

Well that's the hope. There wasn't much good when we looked today. And yeah moving is an utter pain. We have likely twice the amount of stuff then when we moved in.

Urgh, but also yay opportunity. Mr Ag will likely have a promotion by then and hopefully I'll be on a teachers wage by next year. Get me that front garden, downstairs loo and hallway.

Breaking the diet for the evening. Ordering a McDonald's takeaway. I think it's my first takeaway since April!

Me and the one housemate who is still here are giving the house a deep clean as were moving out tomorrow. We’ve just pulled back the sofa and one of the others has left THREE pairs of shoes UNDER the sofa.

HOW do your shoes get there in the first place and HOW had he not noticed?! :D

Spoiler alert - they will take your deposit anyway.

Will never forget the day me and my three housemates gave our house a deep clean.

Three of us turned up on time and started. I had to mow the forest outside in our back garden and be greeted by a million frogs which I have an actual phobia of. The last girl finally turned up at approx 16.00, started rubbing a wall and at approx 16.01 complained that her finger "fucking 'urt" because some paint got under nail.

The moral: never live with people.

Thankfully I‘ll be living alone in two weeks. I can finally wonder around the flat NUDE :disco:

My dad has discovered that the house we lived in when I was a BABY in rural Argyll is now a holiday home on booking.com

The neighbours are STILL doing DIY. At 11.30

They've stopped with the power tools, but they're still sawing.

Marie Kondo is a decluttering specialist from Japan, but she made a breakthrough in the West a few years ago. She’s the “spark joy” lady, she gives advice on how to organise your shit.

She says it’s about keeping the things that actually mean something to you, not about finding stuff to bin.

i had a period around 2009-2011 when I had to move house 3 or 4 times, so that really got in my head how much unnecessary crap I had :D
