Emerging as an early favourite with a certain contingent of the fanbase ( :eyes: ) I have a strong feeling it will be on the tour if there is one.
The response at Club Confessions NYC was beyond.

It’s alright, but it’s definitely one of the weaker songs for me.

An 8, leaning to a 9

That beat is fucking FILTHY. It's like a poppy version of a Peaches track.

I can hear this in Ghetto (RIP) at the electroclash night. What FUN that was.

My instant favourite after the first listen. Still is. Dark electro infectious beat. Highest possible grade. No notes.

Stuart mentioned on the TikTok live that this was a track that was submitted to them that they reworked. Would be cool to listen to the original demos at some point.

Yeah, can the "article" be summarised pleased? I don't have the stomach for these queens shoehorning themselves (and being spat out) of the Confessions II narrative.

Brad: What’s the story behind the origin of “School”?

Matthew: I was actually in Brazil the second time. I think you saw it in one of my posts. I thank Sia for making all this happen.

Brad: Yes.

Matthew: So Sia is very good friends with Lanita, who’s one of the other writers on “School.” Lanita is Sia’s background singer on tour. They’re actual friends, like, past client and singer. Sia wanted to help Lanita. She knew Lanita was a songwriter. Lanita and I had a couple of really interesting records together. She sent music over to Sia. Sia was like, “okay, I’mma listen.” She didn’t even tell us that she was sending songs out. One day, she called Lanita: “Hey, I’m gonna put you in with Madonna.” [Lanita] called me. I was like, “What? Oh, I gotta leave.” She was like, “Yeah, you’re gonna have to leave. Come back.” So I came back to the States, and then we went to London. Madonna is literally everything you think she is, in the best possible ways. She was just so open. Just so receptive to our energy, all of us who came into the session.
