Let's gloss over any potentially awkward questions about why Moopy doesn't seem interested in the breakout hit of the year and start a thread on it

Went in knowing nothing other than it's been well reviewed, has Michael B Jordan, and potentially is some sort of horror. I'm pleased I did this, as it took a turn I liked and enjoyed having as a surprise. (Vampires omg)

I had a blast. 8/10, recommended. (A mark deducted for the fact that SPOILER: the sun does NOT rise that quickly, thank you very much).

It's that kinda 'silly horror' but still entertaining. Very Quentin Tarantino, Django Unchained/From Dusk Till Dawn.

It was good and the music was great, but far too long, and the false endings were annoying.

Also I haven’t seen From Dusk Till Dawn for a very long time. Are they really that similar? I need to see that again.

This was fantastic - they managed to create a world that I just got totally lost in, and a subtext that caused a lot of debate and discussion.

I really enjoyed it, they took the time to develop the characters to a point before things really got going, and I appreciated the musical numbers which added to the time period they were aiming for.

It was the first time in ages where the entire cinema audience stayed for the mid and post credit scenes.

So this was excellent. Right up until we were supposed to believe the shop owner would shout for them to come in. I guess they needed something to enable the ending, but I was very fed up watching this fighting scene. The musical numbers were very strong - in particular the stage stamping and audience jumping was awesome. So it's getting an 8, but this was soaring until the last act.

Finally got around to this and absolutely loved it.

My only complaint:

The final guy character was really quite passive and milquetoast aside from his musical abilities. JUSTICE4ANNIE! What an absolute queen!
