Their biggest US hit and it hit the top 40 in both the US and the UK. It's such a commercially accessible single, I thought it would have hit top 20 at least in 1991.

UNUSUALLY, I'm in TOTAL agreement with DON over these two songs.

Though I prefer their very early stuff even more- "Christine" and "Hong Kong Garden" are IMPECCABLE

One of many amazing singles from this band. School Of Seven Bells have done a very acceptable cover recently. I always think Kiss Them For Me, Peek A Boo and Face To Face would be relatives if they were people.

I don't mind The Rapture, but what a comedown after two amazing albums, and 3 if you count Boomerang from Siouxsie's and Budgie's The Creatures.

This was their last full-on banger. I scored all of their albums in one 3-4 month period of obsession which happily coincided with the reissues being sold off on the cheap - I already had the 2CD of The Scream and copped everything from "Join Hands" to "Tinderbox" for about £20 total. I was lucky to nab the Live At The BBC set for about a tenner as well. Honestly, what a band.

I was watching their show in Florida from 24 November 1991 to be precise and was blown away song after song. Before this she hisses at the crowd to "pucker up". A far "cry" from the performances on the next tour where I'm fully convinced she took great pleasure in eating the song alive: you hear the crowds going wild as it starts; and well... then it starts.
