I think you are right. We got attacked by a snow bomb last year at about this time as I wasted money on getting a new car to get from A to B. We have a few inches :ken:.

Have you watched Celebrity Apprentice yet?

I'm also enjoying the Stacey Dooley hosted 'Glow Up' - another of the reality elimination shows, but this time make up artists.
 
Oh, I;d better do a TOTP catch up, I think a couple of episodes are about to expire.

Not yet, it is on the list. I have very little planned for today because of the weather so I shall be catching up on things I haven’t got round to watching yet. Tomorrow will be a right off of course with it being St Patrick’s Day.

I haven’t heard of Glow Up but will definitely have to investigate. It sounds right up my street.
 
Is any of Comic Relief worth watching back? Apart from The Apprentice which I’ve done already obviously.
 
Celebrity Apprentice is all I've bothered with. Didn't see any of the live broadcast.

Isn't there a highlight show at some point this weekend? I imagine Mr L will be recording that for the Mamma Mia and Four Weddings bits.
 
I used to always watch Comic Relief. The weird thing is how sanitized it has become. In the early days it was quite daring in terms of some of what got broadcast late on. But the dichotomy between the funny stuff and the sad stuff stopped working when the sad stuff became so harrowing and the funny stuff less funny.

My Comic Relief highlight will always be the time Vic and Bob were on, heroically drunk, with 99 "pints" that they were going to drink in 2 minutes whilst singing "Without You".
 
I used to find Comic Relief event television but had no interest in it whatsoever this year. Did they even release a Comic Relief single this year?
 
I can't imagine there's much point. With charity records it was the act of buying the object that made people feel they were "doing something". Streaming a song or even downloading a file doesn't give people the same psychological feeling; there's no accomplishment.

I bought a red nose.

I hope it doesn't. It still has potential, even if it's become sanitised. Maybe it'll change once lenny Henry is dead.
 
Today's kids will never know the delight of sitting in the car with your parents and hearing Right Said Fred singing "From the top of a tall erection..." and Hugh Laurie interrupting "BUILDING! Building, it's a building". :(

It's pretty watchable and entertaining in its own way isn't it!

Yes I watched both episodes yesterday and would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy it.
