I'm going to a restaurant called the GRAZING GOAT with university friends today. I am not vegan but apparently they do a good vegan burger which I'm tempted by.

Oh and please not stalk me there kthanks

Well I was very upset not to see anyone. But to be fair they had "lost" our booking so I'm sure it's just that you guys must have been turned away. Also no vegan burger on the menu any more and they made us leave after 1 hour 30 because someone else needed the table.

We then went to a cafe where my dairy intolerant friend who ordered a soy latte was given a milk latte and felt ill; my friend who ordered decaf got caffeinated tea; and Tisch got a latte when he had ordered a cappuccino.

So all in all a day of good service!

I went to a Turtle Bay last night. I enjoyed the experience. We also drank a fucking lot.

You paid it?! I'll happily quibble and refuse to pay a service charge if I don't feel that the service I received was acceptable. I'll leave a tip once I've checked whether the staff receive them but if you can't get a simple coffee order right then you can whistle for your service charge.

Nope we asked them to take it off. They had the cheek to ask why?!
 
I've only once asked for a service charge to be removed, and I was also asked why.

On one hand I resented being asked, but on the other if things are that bad that I'm refusing to pay it (asking doesn't come easy to me), I'll have a good reason or three, and part of me will relish it.
