Morning moopy. I'm having a bit of a Sunday revelation this morning that maybe I'll just become a long term supply teacher and take on longer posts here and there, with some TEFL work during summer holidays.

The difference in terms of Sunday misery now versus a year ago is huge.

I love supply work, but sadly I need to do my 2 years ECT at some point, to keep my wage at qualified teacher level. I honestly struggle to see me doing a full 2 years, the flexibility of supply work has spoilt me - a third of the work load, a decent wage and the ability to say no. I'm topping up with inviligilation this summer.

Are you not able to do ECT in supply? I think it's an option over here, though it also isn't a requirement for us unless we want to move to the Upper Pay Scale, on account of there being too few permanent jobs.

Although we have an induction and two years of EPD to complete so maybe that's the difference. I still have to finish one of them eek.

No sadly not. I'd happily go without, but I'd quite like the higher pay grade to continue.

I've had a sober weekend. I have energy again, but I look wretched and pale. Make sunshine happen.

Hungover so pub it is. Had a few friends back to our new place last night. We’ve not had such a great entertaining space like this since we lived in Ibiza. I love it.

I havent actually got any on my phone but I will share some because it is show off worthy. It still amazes me that its considerably cheaper than our old house too. I feel like I’ve swindled it in some way.

Hi girls. I went out for a run first thing, followed by preparing Sunday lunch for me, my daughter, son and daughters partner. I then went out for a long walk through the countryside with Tia, came back and cooked Sunday lunch and had a lovely catch up with them all. I am now settling down for the afternoon with the remainder of a bottle of red with Miriam Margolyes dulcet tones blasting through the house reading her autobiography to me courtesy of Audible. I’m not sure who recommended Audible to me but I am loving it.

Miriam's book was the first thing I downloaded when I subscribed to it. Definitely one where the audiobook adds to the experience.

She is an amazing story teller and just has funny bones

And she's touring her new book later this year. Although a lot of dates are sold out already. We're seeing her in Cardiff.

I’ve got a few friends going to see her in Edinburgh. I am kind of gutted I am missing out now although I refused one at the time.

I just checked and it’s in October. I will have moved by then so that must have been why I turned down the offer.

Mr Ag has a migraine, so I've had full run of the house today. Cleaning, cooking, reading and prepping for the week. Quite satisfying really.

Am listening to super ambient music right now and it's bliss. Need weed honey.

I don't care for audiobooks. I don't like having stories read to me.
Never got on with them, even listening to coogan reading as partridge, which should be easy to get on with, i didnt like
