Made it to Mexico, ready for my crazy work month. Annoyed that I stayed up til 9:30pm local (3:30 UK) but jet lag still saw me wide awake five hours later. Think just everything going on isn’t helping- feel very surreal!

Should have some time today to wander so waiting for the sun to come up and will go for a swim in the sea. 31 degrees by 8am. OUCH

I thought constant sunshine from departure to Airbnb would save me but seemingly not. I’ve heard it’s worse back the other way- and now have to do that twice, which I’m not looking forward to!
