What were the best things that happened to you the past decade?: Degree, Mr Ag, the cat.

What were the worst thing that happened to you the past decade?: Leaving Brighton, the Bataclan attack and dealing with alcoholism (not mine, I dealt with that excellently).

What was your favourite music related thing over the past decade? (song/album/artist type thing)?: See elsewhere.

Have you tried to reduce your plastic consumption in 2019? No, but I'm a mean recycler.

What would you like to achieve in 2020? (can be one or many things): Complete my Masters.

What made you smile the most during 2019?: Prank calling my mates ex on a regular basis.

Do you have more money this year than you did last year? No!

What TV show(s) did you watch regularly in 2019?: Fleabag, Drag Race, the Good Place...

What was your worst purchase this year? I bought some really awful pyjamas the other day.

What was the nicest thing someone did for you this year? My mate really helped me out with £££, which I didn't expect.

One thing you're looking forward to in 2020. It's my 40th birthday!

What were the best things that happened to you the past decade?

Giving up being employed, Ron Jr, getting married, living in Ibiza and Chamonix, just the general evolution of my life. Its been a fucking good decade on balance.

What were the worst thing that happened to you the past decade?

Probably Rondog dying and my Dad getting ill, but hes ok, and healthier as a result, so that balances out a bit

What was your favourite music related thing over the past decade? (song/album/artist type thing)?

Glastonbury, in particular the time we featured on TV loads

Yes

What would you like to achieve in 2020? (can be one or many things)

New business to continue to grow, buy or at least to be close to buying a house, learn to sail.

What made you smile the most during 2019?

I know its boring, but my child

Do you have more money this year than you did last year?

Ive taken a bit of a cut because I’ve been working for free to get the new thing up and running, so probably not, not at least cash in hand, but thats fine.

What TV show(s) did you watch regularly in 2019?

Don’t really think anything featured as a regular, weve even given up corry

What was your worst purchase this year?

A mattress that felt like it had spent 6 years on the floor of a crack den brand new

What was the nicest thing someone did for you this year?

Ms Ron worked her arse off for a couple of months to pull in extra cash while I chased yet another one of my wild ideas without as much as a whimper, a genuine rock of a human

One thing you're looking forward to in 2020.

Travelling more, I only went as far as Benidorm last year!

What were the worst thing that happened to you the past decade? Being broke.

What was your favourite music related thing over the past decade? (song/album/artist type thing)? Obvs Mariah going #1 and setting a new record.

Have you tried to reduce your plastic consumption in 2019? Not so much reduce, but definitely recycle.

What would you like to achieve in 2020? (can be one or many things) Paying off all my credit cards, investing my money in something and complete some writing projects. Oh and READ MORE BOOKS!

What made you smile the most during 2019? Seeing democracy in action first-hand.

Do you have more money this year than you did last year? About the same.

What TV show(s) did you watch regularly in 2019? Schitt's Creek, The Crown, RuPaul's Drag Race, The Simpsons

What was your worst purchase this year? A pair of Nike running shoes.

What was the nicest thing someone did for you this year? Family helped me out financially.

One thing you're looking forward to in 2020: Regaining my gym progress.

What were the best things that happened to you the past decade? Living in different places, finding a career that I'm quite good at, making long lasting friends.

What were the worst thing that happened to you the past decade? Never sure about this. I've had lots of family deaths, expected and unexpected, but I don't think it's right to think of those as bad. I'm healthy and safe.

What was your favourite music related thing over the past decade? (song/album/artist type thing)? Run Away With Me + saxophone. Mary Chapin Carpenter albums.

Have you tried to reduce your plastic consumption in 2019? Tried badly and failed.

What would you like to achieve in 2020? (can be one or many things) Become more politically conscious, become more environmentally conscious, enjoy the moment rather than looking into the future at every turn, write and read much more regularly, run more.

What made you smile the most during 2019? Mountain walks.

Do you have more money this year than you did last year? Yes. Thanks to having no car.

What TV show(s) did you watch regularly in 2019? Drag Race. Apprentice. The Crown in the last few weeks. INSTANT HOTEL.

What was your worst purchase this year? InterNations app. Worse version of MeetUp yet more costly.

What was the nicest thing someone did for you this year? Lovely parents saying some lovely things when I finished in my last school.

One thing you're looking forward to in 2020.
Italian sunshine. Hikes. Camino de Santiago in July.

What were the best things that happened to you the past decade? Meeting Mandy, buying our first home, getting my dream job, going on lots of holidays.

What were the worst thing that happened to you the past decade? My friend's dad dying, losing a few friends and loved ones, losing a few pets.

What was your favourite music related thing over the past decade? (song/album/artist type thing)? Westlife reformed :)

Have you tried to reduce your plastic consumption in 2019? Yes, loads. No more plastic water bottles or bags etc

What would you like to achieve in 2020? (can be one or many things) lose 2 stone. Keep my team at work happy.

What made you smile the most during 2019? Holidays and friends.

Do you have more money this year than you did last year? No, i reduced my hours so I have less money but more sanity.

What were the best things that happened to you the past decade? I suppose i got married. Bought a house/nearly paid it off. Saw more of the lovely world, qualified in my job/got promotedx2, got a dog, learned how to brew excellent beer and did some serious long cycling.

What were the worst thing that happened to you the past decade? Nothing in particular springs to mind. I guess not playing music regularly anymore sucks a bit. Also, fuck politics.

What was your favourite music related thing over the past decade? (song/album/artist type thing)? I dunno. Realisation that skapunk is life?

Have you tried to reduce your plastic consumption in 2019? No, simply can't be fucked. Someone needs to take these things away from me.

What would you like to achieve in 2020? (can be one or many things): Scale up homebrewing and make it even better. Learn more forrin language. Pull out Dominic Cumming's teeth.

What made you smile the most during 2019? Involuntary muscle spasms.

Do you have more money this year than you did last year? In ready cash? About the same. Own more house though.

What was your worst purchase this year? I bought 3 different usb car-lighter chargers before i realised the car lighter thing wasn't working.

What were the best things that happened to you the past decade? Transitioning. Saved my life.

What were the worst thing that happened to you the past decade? Learning about transphobia first hand...and having a total breakdown in 2016

What was your favourite music related thing over the past decade? (song/album/artist type thing)? Blimey, that's very very difficult...I'd plump for the bands and artists who emerged during the decade who were newcomers and blew my mind so Kelly Moran, Black Dresses/rook (etc), SOPHIE and Charli XCX.

Have you tried to reduce your plastic consumption in 2019? It was pretty low to start with but yeah, I've done my bit. I've been more about reducing my dairy consumption although getting that to zero has thus far proved very hard.

What would you like to achieve in 2020? (can be one or many things) - get my new noise project off the ground, make two albums I;m truly happy with, go to more gigs and spend a bit more time around people.

What made you smile the most during 2019? A seemingly endless stream of great music and my niece's face when she opened her Xmas prezzies..

Do you have more money this year than you did last year? Yeah. Not by much but enough to keep things moving,.

What TV show(s) did you watch regularly in 2019? Mock The Week, Frankie Boyle's New World Order, Hypothetical, Breaking The News (although I still prefer the radio version). I watched Nasty Cherry's Netflix show too (hilarious) and the new episodes of Rick and Morty (weirdly less funny that the Nasty Cherry doc).

What was your worst purchase this year? A Buzzcocks t-shirt from eBay. Obviously a bootleg, shrank on the first wash.

What was the nicest thing someone did for you this year? Believed me when I told them what had happened (I know that's a bit cryptic but it's work related...).

One thing you're looking forward to in 2020. My dad visiting Scotland in June.

Yep, i know. But it's not like i consume much plastic anyway. I don't drink from coffee shops. I buy vegetables loose at a greengrocer. That's not me trying to reduce plastic waste, it's just how i live anyway.

Oh ok. In that case carry on. We've started buying loose veg. Even bananas come in plastic in some supermarkets
 
I remembered last night falling asleep that I started the last decade travelling, came back broke, decided to be a chef and got even more broke. What a solid uphill 10 years that really was.
 
I was straight at the beginning of the last decade.
