I'm going back to work today. Still don't feel 100% but much better than I did. And I'm getting really depressed at home, this round of Covid seems to be playing absolute havoc with my mental health. I've cried every day since Saturday, about nothing.
I watched Planet earth, I cried.
I saw a photo of heathcliff, I cried.
A Christmas advert came on TV, I cried.
Mandy asked how I was feeling, I cried.
I need to get out.

Just be careful - I took two days off last week, went back on the third and I think it was too early, as I've still not managed to shake it fully. I think had I taken the Thursday off as well (as I don't work Fri), I'd probably have kicked it by now.
As it is, I'm back on the Sudafed and I feel like someone has taken a cheese grater to my sinuses.

I don't feel that bad compared to last week. It's only really sinus pain and a bit of a headache.

Trying to cultivate some (non-toxic) positivity today. Went a bit spend happy last night after work and ended up spending into the hundreds (some of that on myself), got home and sat in bed feeling a lot of buyers remorse.
Today I’m thinking FUCK IT. It’s been a rough year and I want to see happy faces at Christmas. I want to radiate happiness and enjoy the festivities!
After work I shall meditate and get stuck into a brilliant new book I’m reading. Possibly eat some junk food.

This is why it’s always best to keep a legitimate positive test in your back pocket.
I’d never tempt fate though personally, I’ve had it 3 times and I hated all 3 aside from the fact that everyone left me alone.
