How have you not tried it, I assumed every English person has tried it

I find this bizarre too, but then I guess it was a childhood staple in our house. If your family didn't like it (and loads don't, let's face it), then I suppose some won't ever have been exposed to it.

Can people who haven't make it their mission to go and buy some and report back, please?

I've yet to try the Peanut Butter and Marmite combo, but I have banged on for YEARS about combining the two individual products, so I would hope that it would be a CULINARY DELIGHT.

You had gravel? Luxury! In my day we had to make our own gravel by crushing up rocks with the back of a spoon or it was dry bread for us.
